The picturesque cathedral in the city of Exeter is a short drive and is a must-see when coming to this part of the world with its cobbled streets array of architecture from medieval to modern day. Other attractions within easy reach include Castle Drogo Crealy Devon and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Alternatively relax on site and take in the glorious far-reaching views over the Devon countryside from the garden and private enclosed patio areas. The accommodation is arranged on one level and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 spacious king-size with TV and en-suite shower room with WC and 1 cosy twin (with zip-and-link bed that can be made as a king-size on request). Shower room: with WC. Lounge: lovely light room with TV/DVD double sofa bed (that can be used to accommodate two extra guests) and sliding door to large enclosed patio. Kitchen/diner: with electric double oven and hob fridge freezer microwave dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: large enclosed decked patio area with garden furniture BBQ and stunning views. Okehampton is a town in Devon, England, on the north of Dartmoor. Being Saxon in origin it originally grew on the medieval wool trade. It is located not far from Belstone, Exbourne, Inwardleigh, and Sampford Courtenay and is one over three hundred towns or villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest designated cities are Exeter (population 106,772), Plymouth (population 243,795), and Truro (which has a population of 20,920 according to the 2001 Census).
With some interesting sights in the town and itself, and Dartmoor begging to be explored just to the south, a visit to Okehampton is highly recommended as a base for exploring this part of Devon's landscape.
